Christlikeness: God’s Purpose for You (1/12/25)
Romans 8:29; 1 John 3:2; 2 Corinthians 3:18
God’s ultimate purpose for believers is to become like Christ – a transformation that spans past, present, and future. This divine plan was established before time began, as revealed in Romans 8:29. The transformation process is supernatural, gradual, and requires active participation through spiritual disciplines. While complete Christ-likeness awaits His return, believers can cooperate with God’s purpose through Bible reading, prayer, church attendance, and service. This journey begins with salvation and continues through intentional spiritual growth.
