Becoming Like Christ (Part 4)(2/16/25)

Becoming like Christ means embodying His spiritual qualities, particularly in forgiveness and handling suffering. True forgiveness involves taking initiative, releasing others from wrongs, and not holding offenses against them. While forgiveness doesn’t mean approving wrong actions or excusing evil, it frees us from the burden of anger and resentment. When facing suffering, we must follow Christ’s example of patience, trust in God, and maintaining faith without seeking revenge. This transformation requires daily commitment to reflect Jesus’s character in our lives.
