Becoming Like Christ (Part 1)(1/19/25)
Galatians 5:22-24; 1 John 2:3-6
Growing in Christlikeness involves transformation of both inner character and outward conduct through the Holy Spirit’s work. The fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control – forms a unified package that shapes believers’ character. This development requires daily surrender to the Spirit’s leading while actively resisting sinful tendencies. Walking as Jesus walked means pursuing complete obedience to God’s will as an ongoing lifestyle, not a sporadic effort.
