Living Towards the New Life to Come (12/29/24)
Revelation 21:1-5
God promises believers a magnificent eternal future – a new heaven and earth where He will dwell directly with His people. This new creation will be completely transformed, free from evil, death, mourning, and pain. Through Jesus’s sacrifice, we have access to this eternal life, which should fundamentally change how we view and live our current lives. Understanding that our present existence is temporary compared to eternity helps us maintain proper perspective and make choices aligned with God’s eternal purposes.
